Prior to joining Colliers, Jim was the Executive Vice President & Partner at Phillips Edison & Company where he helped generate over $200M of ground-up development and acquisition for net lease properties throughout the United States.

Joseph F. Coughlin, Ph.D. - Director, MIT AgeLab
Joseph is founder and director of the AgeLab at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His research seeks to understand the impacts of global demographic change, social trends and technology on consumer behavior, innovations in business, and public policy. He is the author of The Longevity Economy: Inside the World's Fastest Growing, Most Misunderstood Market, and is a regular contributor to Forbes. Dr. Coughlin teaches in MIT's Department of Urban Studies & Planning and the Sloan School's Advanced Management Program.
